How to add Photos, Albums and Shows to Blogger

This post explains how to host photos, albums and Shows at dotPhoto, and how to illustrate Google Blogger with these posts. Every illustration below is actually an image at dotPhoto. This is a very simple procedure: you do not need to know HTML or programming to do this.

dotPhoto provides links to every photo, album and show under the "Share" menu on the left side of the screen. Click on Share, and then on See Links to choose the links.

To link to an album, you can simply copy an album link and paste it like this:

There are two album links: one links directly into thumbnails, and the other one links directly to the first photo in the album:

By clicking on a photo, you can also access the links to that photo and embed that photo directly into Google Blogger. To embed a photo, click on the photo and copy the "Websites, Auctions and Blog" link like this:

Then click on Blogger's "Edit Html" tab, scroll down to where you want to place the photo and paste in the link. When you click on Blogger's "Compose" tab, you'll see your photo. You don't have to know anything about HTML to cut and paste dotPhoto links into Blogger.

Hosting a dotPhoto Show is also easy. When you're watching your dotPhoto Show, click on the Embed link at the top of the screen and copy it into your Blogger "Edit Html" window. Here's how to copy the dotPhoto Embed Link:

You can host dotPhoto Shows at most sites and blogs. See www.myspace.com/dotphoto

Blogger erroneously reports that dotPhoto Show links are missing a tag, but, if you click the Blogger box that says "Stop showing title or body HTML errors for this post," it works just fine. Example:
